

Kuala Lumpur, 30 September 2025 – The Lion-Parkson Foundation (LPF) officially handed over a fully equipped ambulance with medical devices worth nearly RM230,000 to St John Ambulance of Malaysia (SJAM) at a ceremony held at SJAM’s national headquarters on 25 September 2025.
Puan Sri Chelsia Cheng, Chairman of LPF presented a mock key to Dato’ Lai See Ming, Commander-in-Chief of SJAM, symbolizing the handover of the ambulance. Also present were LPF trustees, Datuk CS Tang and Ms Chow Mun Seong, SJAM team and friends from the Hui Xin Ladies Group.
In her speech, Puan Sri Chelsia said: “Access to timely medical care is important to save lives, and we are pleased to play a role in helping St John provide its critical ambulance service.” She added, “We hope this ambulance will enhance the capacity to deliver prompt medical assistance and reach even more people in need.”
She also thanked the Hui Xin Ladies Group and other donors for their contributions toward the ambulance and the medical devices installed.
This donation marks another important milestone in the Foundation’s commitment to supporting life-saving services and strengthening community resilience across Malaysia.
LPF was launched in 1990 by Lion Group of Companies in aid of charity, education and medical assistance. To date, it has contributed RM53 million to various causes, including this ambulance donation to SJAM.
