At the event, Hui Xin Ladies Group donated RM25,000 to LPF to kick start its fundraising to purchase medical devices to be installed in the ambulance donated by LPF. It is hoped this initial contribution will encourage more donors to contribute towards the fundraising to purchase the devices which are estimated to cost about RM89,500.
The event was held in conjunction with Parkson’s annual Christmas Party Celebration to celebrate the spirit of giving during the festive season. Following the presentation ceremony, the festivities continued with a Christmas cake-cutting.
