Upon completion of my tertiary education in 1992, I joined Parkson Corporations Bhd. as a Management Trainee. I started off in the Operations Department. I underwent 6 months training programme at Parkson Grand Subang Parade, Selangor. As a fresh graduate and without any experience in retail, I went through on the job training in Departmental store operations. My career in Parkson has evolved from Management Trainee, Floor Executive, Assistant Store Manager, Head of Store both in West and East Malaysia, Senior Store Manager till now as an Operations Manager heading 3 Branches in the East Coast Region. My continuous progression from a Junior Executive position till my current position could never be achieved without great mentorship by management and excellent company practices in promoting continuous personal development.
